Job Description
We are looking for a qualified team member to respond to requests for technical assistance related to technology in our customers’ business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer inbound technical support calls from clients
Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, and e-mail
Remotely resolve computer and network-related hardware and software problems for clients
Build and test client computers and related peripherals in preparation for delivery
Input support tickets into tracking system as clients call
Occasional on-site repair of client equipment / on-site technical problem resolution
Research issues using available information resources
Advise user and related contacts on appropriate action
Redirect / escalate problems to correct resources for resolution
Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
Stay current with system information, changes and updates
Monitor alerts and alarms from monitoring systems, create tickets, triage, and resolve issues
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing helpdesk support
Associates degree in computer science or IT related field preferred
2 or more years in IT technical support in direct, hands-on role, preferably in call center or held desk role
Related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing help desk support
Excellent customer service skills
Must be a self-starter
Must have problem solving skills and the ability to work through situations to resolution
Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems
Must have valid Driver’s License
Physically able to climb ladder and repetitively lift items weighing up to 40 pounds
Will be regularly using common hand tools such as screwdrivers, scissors, etc.

Salary: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
